This is such a beautiful place and I absolutely adored the lake and the view from the kitchen window of our cottage.

I can't believe I invited a man to go swimming with us. The fresh air is probably doing wonders for my confidence.

Having them as friends will be very interesting.



The New Friends

Wednesday:
Mom and I met this man named Loki by the lake who had a really cool tiki hut! He had LOTS of yummy juices, plus he was another strawberry fan. Always good. Mom def. liked him cause she couldn't stop smiling. She's going to meet him again and I can't wait!!

Thursday:
I met this really cool girl named Mitsuko - I hope that's how it's spelt. She's older with cute clothes and we had SO much fun with our Archery lesson. There was this cute blond centaur with very nice muscles and I swear he grinned at me more.

Then I find out...
We're going swimming. With a MAN. Who's our neighbor and a sorceror!! My mother actually invited a MAN to go swimming with her. And she's planning on wearing A SKIMPY BIKINI WHICH I'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE. That has to mean something, right? She'd go swimming in that with Loki, surely. She says this Mr. Gray is sweet and clever and likes blueberry pie and has interesting eyes.

When I asked her about Loki in my very subtle way ("What about Loki?"), she said: he's handsome and fun.

Mom is SO vague, god! She has such a big crush on the man, I swear! Or both of them. I think she's really desperate. Which means I need to work fast.
